CHARITY BOWL 2018
For those new to the Ghosts, the Charity Bowl is an over 35s game played every year in SE Qld between the Wardogs and Bluesteel. The two names are a combination of the first 4 teams to play the game here in Qld - Centurions (Royal Blue jerseys) and Steelers - 'Bluesteel', and the Warriors and Bulldogs - Wardogs.
Anyone over 35yo is welcome to participate in the game.
Players either choose which team they want to play for or go into a pool of players that are then alloted to either team depending on squad numbers or positional requirements.
This year's game will again be played at the home of the Gold Coast Stingrays, Nerang Roosters RL. We are hopeful this location will be the home of the Charity Bowl in the years to come.
Game date is the 30th June (the middle weekend of the school holidays).
Unfortunately I have been unable to keep the cost to $100 due to rising insurance costs and registration, so the game fee will be $120 (which gets you a bloody good jersey, rego, basic insurance & use of any protective equipment required).
So for now, we'll do the usual and get the following info from you if you are wanting to play. I will need squads and money sorted by the 23rd of April.
Please make the only comments in this thread your answers to the following questions - it makes it much much easier for me to follow. I'll delete anything that isn't relevant. We can have multiple players in the same jersey number if required.
Jersey size? (chest measurement if possible please)
Shoulder Pads required?
Preferred starting positions (max 4)
